Three Dimensional Visualization Through Animation

This animation ilustrates the use of motion to create the impression of a three-dimensional object. While the figure is in motion, the viewer takes visual cues from the scene that suggest that the object is a solid object. However, if the motion is stopped, the three dimensional illusion is broken, and the scene is clearly a two-dimensional picture.
